Joining
Demo Pub Birthday Club is free to join. Members must be 18 or over. One membership per person and per email address.
Your welcome gift
When you join, we'll email you a voucher for a free starter or dessert with any paid main meal. It can be used between the dates shown on the voucher. One per member.
Your birthday reward
Each year, about 14 days before your birthday, we'll email you a voucher for a free meal for the member. It can be used between the dates shown on the voucher, so you don't have to come on the day itself. One per member per year.
If you join close to your birthday, your birthday voucher will arrive first and your welcome gift will follow later. We'll email you when it's ready.
When vouchers can't be used
Vouchers aren’t valid on bank holidays or during special events such as quiz nights and live music. Please check when you book.
Booking and using your voucher
Booking is recommended by phone on 01632 960123 or in person. On your visit, show the voucher on your phone to a member of staff, who will mark it as used. Once a voucher has been used it can't be used again, and vouchers can't be extended after they expire.
The small print
Only one voucher can be used per visit. Vouchers have no cash value, can't be exchanged or transferred, and can't be used with any other offer. Demo Pub may change or end the Birthday Club at any time. If it does, we'll let members know by email first. Vouchers already issued will be honoured until they expire.
Privacy
Who runs the club
The data controller is Demo Pub (trading as Demo Pub), registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under (Demo reg number). The Birthday Club is run on its behalf by Steve Richards (Birthday Clubs). For any questions about your details, email [email protected].
What we collect
Your first name, email address, birthday (day and month only, never the year), whether you'd like to receive offers, and how you found us (for example, a table card).
Why do we collect it
To send your welcome gift, birthday voucher and reminders. That's the club you signed up for.
To check each voucher is only used once.
To send occasional offers, but only if you ticked the consent box to receive them.
Who sees it
Pub staff see your voucher when you use it. We use trusted service providers to store your details and send emails (GoHighLevel, Mailgun and Lovable), and some of these may store data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards. We never sell or share your details with anyone else.
How long do we keep it
For as long as you’re a member. If you leave, we’ll delete your details within 30 days, except your email address, which we keep only to make sure we don’t contact you again.
Your choices
Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom.
To leave the club, get a copy of your details, or have them corrected or deleted, email [email protected].
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
